Corinthians welcome Goias to the Neo Quimica Arena on Sunday with the hope of returning to victory ways this weekend after the draw with hosts Atletico Paranaense via a 1-1 scoreline. The two teams ended the game with ten men in what was a feisty encounter. Roger Guedes gave visitors Corinthians a first half lead before David Terens equalised for the hosts eight minutes from time. As things stand, Corinthians are in second spot on the Brazilian Serie A table and three points off Palmeiras at the top of the table ahead of the visit of Goias on Sunday. Newly promoted team Goiasare one point and one spot above the relegation zone ahead of the Corinthians game.
